Ingredients:
Serves 2 to 3
- 1 cup – Oats ( I have used instant / Quick/ 1 minute oats)
- 1 1/2 cup – Milk (room temperature)
- 1 medium – Banana
- 1/4 tsp – Sugar
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence
- Salt to taste
- Butter or ghee for making pancake
Preparation method:
- Take a blender, add oats, banana, milk, sugar,salt, baking powder, vanilla essence and blend it thoroughly for 5 to 7 minutes or until well blended. Set it aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat a tawa or dosa pan, add little butter and pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the pan. Allow them to cook both sides till golden brown.Tasty and yummy oats banana pancake is ready and serve hot with maple syrup.
Notes:
- Always cook pancake in medium flame. If you cook pancake on high flame, then the inner part of the pancake may not cook well.
- You can keep the prepared flour in the refrigerator for next day.
- You may always replace quick oats or instant oats with steel cut oats.
- Consistency of pancake batter should be like dosa batter not too thick nor too thin.
