Sweet laddu prepared with health mix powder and palm jaggery / karuppatti is a perfect evening snack for kids.

- 1 1/2 cup - Health mix powder/ sathu maavu
- 1/2 cup - Palm jaggery grated / karupatti ( i used 1 piece of karupatti as shown in picture)
- 1/2 cup - Water
- 3 to 4 tbsp - Hot ghee (or add as needed)
Preparation method:
- Take a vessel, add powdered palm jaggery and 1/2 cup water, bring it to boil and cook them until they are slightly thick. Switch off the stove and strain them to remove all the impurities. Keep it aside.
- Heat a pan, dry roast health mix powder slightly over medium flame for few seconds or until raw smell goes. Set it aside.
- Take a mixing bowl, add roasted health mix powder, jaggery syrup and mix well together without any lumps. Then add hot ghee to this powder, mix it well with a spoon and make small balls (lemon sized) while the heat is endurable(tolerable or bearable).
- Now tasty health mix or sathu maavu laddu /urundai is ready. Store it properly in an airtight container and enjoy this healthy laddu.
Notes:
- Increase or decrease the quantity of palm jaggery as per your taste level.
- You can replace palm jaggery / karupatti with our regular jaggery or even with powdered sugar.
- Though i mentioned 3 to 4 tbsp (approximately) of ghee in the list, you have to add as required to make perfect laddu.
Adding palm jaggery made it more healthy :)
