This menu shares a typical South Indian meal / South Indian lunch which includes plain rice, methi dal / venthaya keerai paruppu, avarakkai curry, yam fry, rasam, curd, pickle and appalam.

Notes:
- You can prepare spicy potato fry as a replacement for yam fry.
- You can use any keerai like spinach (pasalai keerai)/ arai keerai/ siru keerai / drumstick leaves or agathi keerai to prepare same as this methi dal. Only the cooking time varies.
