Coconut ladoo/Thengai laddu is a popular street snacks in Southern part of Tamilnadu. It is simple and yummy ladoo with just 4 ingredients.

- 2 cups - Coconut, grated
- 1 cup jaggery
- 1 to 2 tsp – Ghee
- 1/8 tsp cardamom powder
- Heat a tsp of ghee in a pan, add 2 cups of grated coconut, saute for 5 minutes or until the moisture from coconut is dried slightly.
- Add 1 cup of jaggery,cook over medium flame until the jaggery melts and everything is combined well. Add1/8 tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
- Continue to cook until the mixture starts to hold shape. Switch off the stove.Make gooseberry sized ladoo when it is warm.
- Once cool down, store it in an airtight container for a week. Else store it in refrigerator. Enjoy your coconut ladoos!
- You may add some nuts to make your ladoo crunchy and tasty.
- Cook over medium flame to make ladoo perfectly.
