Dalgona Coffee Challenge is a trending challenge around the world now. Dalgona is a candy toffee from Korea. A youtuber from Korea posted a video of making beaten coffee in the name of Dalgona coffee which gone viral now. Today, I made Dalgona Coffee in two ways cold and hot.

- 2 tbsp – Instant coffee powder
- 2 to 4 tbsp – Sugar (add as needed)
- 2 tbsp – Hot boiling water
- Milk as needed (approximately 2 to 3 cups)
- Instant coffee powder or cocoa powder or chocolate shaving for garnish
- Ice cubes for cold version
Preparation method:
- In a bowl, add instant coffee,sugar and hot water, beat vigorously with hand beater or electric beater till it reaches soft peak consistency. Refer the video.
- Pour the chilled milk with or without ice cubes to a serving glass, add the beaten coffee on top of the milk and garnish with few sprinkles of coffee powder or cocoa powder. Cold dalgona coffee is ready to serve.
- To make hot cappuccino, add hot milk to a glass, add the beaten coffee on top of the milk and garnish with few sprinkles of coffee powder or cocoa powder. Hot dalgona coffee is ready to serve.
- You may either make cold or hot version of Dalgona coffee, both tastes good.
- You may increase the quantity of sugar as per your taste.
- I skipped ice cubes in the cold dalgona coffee. But I had used cold milk instead.
